Blackened Lemon Garlic Salmon

Blackened Seasoning

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

3 tbsp smoked paprika

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Sauce

2 lemons, juiced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoon melted butter

2 tablespoon for cooking, vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Heat 2 tablespoon vegetable oil in pan

  2. Combine seasons in bowl

  3. Coat salmon filet with seasonings

  4. Brush sauce on salmon filet

  5. Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, basting with sauce repeatedly

  6. Serve with asparagus or your favorite veggie!
